The linear guide rail is composed of slide rail, slide block, ball, ball holder, ball return groove, etc. The main principle is to make the steel ball train move circularly through the structure of ball return groove, ball holder, etc., so as to realize the low friction linear movement of the slide on the slide rail. This structure determines the following basic characteristics of linear guide rail:
Feature 1: Because it is point-to-point contact, the friction resistance is very small, and it can carry out fine movement to achieve high-precision positioning of control devices.
Feature 2: Because the ball has its own rolling groove, the force on the rotating surface will be dispersed, so there is a large allowable load.
Feature 3: The linear guide rail is not easy to generate friction heat and heat deformation during operation, so it is suitable for high-speed movement.
Feature 4: Generally, the contact angle of each ball row is 45 °, so that the four action directions (radial, anti-radial and lateral) on the slider have the same rated load.
